Information you give us

When you request a case review through our form, we collect the type of matter, whether you still work for the organization involved, your name, email address, phone number, how you found us, and the description you choose to write.

When you use the live chat, the chat provider collects the messages you send and any contact details you give, and passes them to us.

When you call us, we receive your phone number and whatever you tell us on the call.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we collect technical information about visits: pages viewed, the device and browser used, approximate location derived from the IP address, the site that referred you, and campaign details in the link you followed, such as an advertising click identifier. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies set by Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.

We do not record what you type into our forms through analytics tools, and analytics events never include your name, email, phone number or description.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiry and evaluate whether we can help
• Run a conflicts check before discussing a matter in detail
• Understand which pages and advertising lead people to contact us
• Maintain and improve the website and protect it against spam and abuse
• Comply with legal and professional obligations

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that operate the website and our intake on our behalf, and only as needed for that purpose:

• Website hosting (Vercel)
• Email delivery of form submissions to our attorneys and staff (Resend)
• Live chat (ApexChat)
• Website analytics and advertising measurement (Google)

Advertising measurement

We use Google advertising tools to measure which of our ads lead to inquiries. You can limit personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Confidentiality and security

This website uses an encrypted connection. Form submissions are then delivered to us by email, which is not a fully secure channel. Please keep your first message short: what industry, what you saw, and how to reach you. Do not send documents, account numbers or anything you took from an employer. If you would rather not put anything in writing, call us instead.

Contacting us does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond, to check for conflicts, and to meet our legal and professional record-keeping obligations. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
